Tuesday Uvaly Mission Group

Discussion Group in Uvaly. We will have a short time of worship singing in Czech, followed by a weekly bi-lingual teaching on themes relating to our everyday life and discussion in Czech. We finish with prayer and fellowship time. Please bring a drink or snacks.

We have a great time of worship, fellowship, prayer and Bible Study. Each week we study a passage or theme from the Bible that relates to practical issues in our lives and have discussion. Come between 6-6:30pm to eat and we start at 7pm. Call or email Tereza for information.

Prague 2 Wednesday Home Group
|

|
We have begun a study of "Discipleship" in English. You are invited to attend, participate in the Christian fellowship, and enjoy an evening meal. Bring a friend. STARTING SEPTEMBER 2 we will begin meeting every other week as we begin our study of the New Testament.

A small group of men meet each week for sharing and prayer. This group serves as a compliment to people who cannot attend evening HGs. Anyone is welcome... except women of course :-)

Thursdays we join with the International House of Prayer (IHOPP) for "intercessory worship."

Every Friday there is a Czech IHOPP session. The worship and prayers are in Czech but the Spirit you will recognize.

Our group meets in Uvaly just outside Prague. We are continuing our study this fall from the book of Romans. Please call ahead to confirm and get directions. All are welcome. We will break for the summer in July and August, and start BACK in SEPTEMBER.

OUR COMMUNITY
Our community is the English speaking congregation of a larger Czech body (Křesťanské společenství) and is made up of Christians from many countries and various traditions.
Our worship is expressive, our teaching based on the Word of God, and our ministry dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We hope to be known for our belief in Jesus Christ and our love for one another. (1 John 3:23-24).

SUNDAY SERVICES
Sunday Services vary from week to week. However, the typical schedule is as follows;
4:00 - 4:25 Prayer
4:30 - 6:15 Worship Service (Worship, Communion, Prayer Point, Greeting, Message, Prayer Ministry)
6:15 - Fellowship & then Dinner (ask someone where the group is going)
HOW DO YOU JOIN THE FAMILY?
1/ Join a small group
Small groups are the best place to get to know other people and for people to get to know you. Our pastoral model is built around relationships which naturally develop at home groups. Each small group is different but all usually offer fellowship, worship, prayer, teaching, discussion and ministry. If there is not one in your area, consider talking to pastor John Mullen about starting one.
2/ Join the Community
We encourage people to make a commitment to the Lord and to each other because we believe it is spiritually healthy. Christianity is not built on individualism, but rather community. Spiritual growth comes through relationship with Jesus and with brothers and sisters. Commitment is the bond of love. Jesus has called us to build his church by bonding together in love. Speak with John about it.
3/ Get Involved!
A definition of wholeness is giving more than you are taking. Service is healthy. Shared experiences of serving create intimacy. Whatever we do for others, we do for Jesus.
